As an art educator herself, Morris teaches glass art in her curriculum and will help participants begin incorporating it into their own schools, as well.
This workshop will cover the fundamentals of fusing, slumping, glass compatibility, firing schedules, kiln and mold preparation and safety. Individuals will learn numerous different glass processes including application of frit, powder and stringers. Beth will also demonstrate the steps taken when working with paints and inclusions, as well as the use of metals and mica powders in fused glass.
